Nothing says nap time better than a Mayan Hammock March 27, 2008

On one of our past trips to the Yucatan we picked up this beautiful Mayan hammock, and I am just now getting around to putting it up.
I love how lazy it makes the yard feel.

This hammock is hand made by the local Mayan Indians and it is constructed out of very soft cotton.

So soft, it’s the perfect place to let a baby take a nap!

and who better to take the first test nap? none other than our little miss.

as you can see, she is deep into the judging at this point

Soft on my nose. Check!

No pressure marks left on my forehead. Check!

Weave loose enough to allow for a nice passing breeze. Check!

Piggies completely comfortable. Check!

Cozy enough to sleep in, until Moma gets home. Check!
— So there we have it, Mayan hammocks check out with the most discriminating naper.
